Do You Believe In Ghosts? Here Is A Ghostly Tale

I have often wondered whether ghosts really exist, what do you think, do you believe they do? What we need is a blog all about ghosts where people can post their ghostly stories and opinions. The problem I suppose would be that you would get people just making up stories for a laugh, yes very funny I know. In this article, I am going to write about my opinions on this subject as well as telling the tale of a ghost which a friend of mine claims he saw. I have to say that this friend is quite trustworthy and not one who is known for telling fibs, but you can never be sure....Read On

Halloween at School

Halloween continues to grow in popularity. Children anticipate Halloween almost as much as Christmas. But Halloween, with its scary side, holds a special attraction for children. A Halloween class party, with the usual Halloween candy as prizes, is exciting for children of all ages. How about a 'cat walk' for young children. Create a pathway around the room. Place paper cats along the path. All of the cats are white except one black cat. Children walk the patch as music plays. When the music stops, whoever is on the black cat wins. Kids love to dance. Have them make up their own dance steps to the 'Monster Mash'. Then get everyone involved in making up names for their dances....Read On

Halloween Came From Where?

Originally starting out as an ancient Celtic holiday, Druidic priests regarded the day as the end of the year and a celebration for the year's harvest. October 31 was the first day of a three-day celebration called Samhain, meaning "the end of summer". It marked the passage from the season of the sun to the season of darkness, but was also a festival for honoring the dead. The Celts believed the laws of space and time were suspended on this night, allowing the spirit world to crossover and intermingle with the living world....Read On
